My two cents: American Paradigm

   It's highly disturbing to me that our capitalist perspective of economic rebound rests in the increased production of more disposable goods that will end up in the landfill.  It is "commercially" not viable to make something that is truly high quality & will last.  Cyclical obsolescence is imperative in our system.  "Continuous growth" is an incredibly arrogant mantra that I can't begin to understand.
